About

Ritch Wigham Investment Advisor

This is a picture of my son taken August 2008. That is the most important smile in my world. All of us have a similar care or objective that motivates our individual worlds. My goal is to help my clients realize where their favorite smile resides.

For myself I work, and take pride in my work, so that I can live in an area that allows me to pursue my outdoor activities and interests. I would like that opportunity, whether it is the arts or music or travel, or whatever you personal enjoyment is, for you to be able to participate in those activities outside of where you work as well.

My personal life is of no consequence to my clients as long as they know that my ideals mesh with theirs. As a picture is worth a thousand words, the smile on my son’s face says it better than I ever could.

Let the smile endure!

About Ritch Wigham

I entered the brokerage industry 28 years ago in 1980 at age 23. Three years later I included my commodities accreditation and a year after that my Option license was achieved , eventually to become a Designated Registered Futures Principle.

My belief is that it is imperative to understand both the fundamental and technical nature of the markets.

During my last years of high school and into university (University of Saskatchewan/Saskatoon) I spent 5 summer exploration seasons working in Northern Canada doing grass-roots geological mapping and prospecting for commercial and government agencies (Noranda Exploration, Uranerz Exploration, Department of Mineral Resources/Province of Saskatchewan to name a few).

This is what stimulated my interest to pursue a career in the Financial Services Industry.

My specialties are of course in Mining and Oil and Gas, from grass-roots exploration all the way through development and advanced physical hedging. From equities to option writing strategies and currency and metals recommendations to enhance returns. And of course now this includes the use of ETF’s (Exchange Traded Funds) as a tool for portfolio management.
